Inspirational Messages

You folks are an incredible group--and I only know 2-3 of you.

I don't know if you are reading the posts where people have volunteered, but gee, when Tally asked for someone to house sit, Kim replied she'd do it, and also would do laundry/chores too if Jack were sleeping. WOW, that's nice!

How 'bout using comments to this post to do a little uplifting for all of us. I'm not feeling very 'inspirational' this morning, but I'll try:

"This is a day the Lord has made, let us rejoice in it."

Sorry, the mind is blank now, but it's your turn. Comment with something inspirational for all of us to pick ourselves up with.

Thanks.

I find much comfort in this prayer - may it greet you with the peace that passes all understanding.

"O God, early in the morning I cry to you.
Help me to pray
And to concentrate my thoughts on you:
I cannot do this alone.
In me there is darkness,
But with you there is light;
I am lonely, but you do not leave me;
I am feeble in heart, but with you there is help;
I am restless, but with you there is peace.
In me there is bitterness, but with you there is patience;
I do not understand your ways,
But you know the way for me…
Restore me to liberty,
And enable me to live now
That I may answer before you and before me.
Lord, whatever this day may bring,
Your name be praised."

Good morning Jack and Tally,
I would like to offer to help you Tally with respite care for Jack. I have a fairly flexable schedule. I had the honor of caring for a dear friend in much the same way that you are caring for Jack now, 24/7 and trying to do it all. I know how important it is to have this kind of support, especially from your family of friends.

So, please let me know if I can help you or Jack in any way. I support all of your requests in terms of DNR.

I'm not sure if you will remember me but I do remember you.

Oh Ron, thank you for your part in making this blog happen!

With warm thoughts to you all...

Hi, Tally. I want you to know how much Jack was loved by his officiating family. It didn't matter that we were on the other side of the mountains--Spokane. I have let all 35 officials from the Spokane Association about Jack. In addition, I have emailed officials in Vancouver, Yakima, Colfax, Colville and other places around the state. I have also talked to other officials in other sports about Jack. The easiest way to look at Jack was through his smile. He always had one. It was an honor on our part to be in attendance when he was awarded his HOF National coat this Spring in Spokane. Jack is what I call a man for all seasons. By simply talking to him, he made me and others better in the great sport of wrestling. The Mat Classic will not be the same because Jack will not be there. However, you can be sure we will talk about him--a lot during the tournament. I loved Jack like a brother and miss him more than words can describe. Take care Tally. You are in our prayers--along with Jack.
